Advanced Blender

Animation & Gaming

Blender is a powerful, free and open-source 3D creation tool used worldwide for 3D modelling, animation, visual effects, game assets, motion graphics and rendering. It offers a complete production pipeline — from sculpting and texturing to rigging, animation, lighting and final renders — with the Eevee (real-time) and Cycles (cinematic realism) render engines, plus tools for compositing, video editing and smoke, fire and fluid simulations.

01Try it

From wireframe to final render.

Every 3D object goes through the same stages. Switch between them to see what each one adds, and move your pointer over the cube to tilt it.

Modelling: the shape is built from points, edges and faces.

02 // The viewport

One program.Four ways to look.

This is a real model in a live viewport, with the same four shading buttons Blender has. Switch between them, turn on the bones, and drag to orbit.

Viewport shading

A plain grey surface, fast to draw. Most modelling and sculpting is done in this view.

  1. Stage 011/3

    Build

Wireframe and solid views are where modelling and sculpting happen.

  2. Stage 022/3

    Paint

Material preview shows textures and materials while they are being made.

  3. Stage 033/3

    Render

The rendered view shows the final light: instantly in Eevee, physically accurate in Cycles.

03Course content

What you'll learn.

8 topics, in the order you'll meet them. Open any one for a plain-language explanation.

  1. Finding your way around Blender and setting up an efficient way of working.

  2. Building objects and whole locations, from a single prop to a full set.

  3. Shaping a model like digital clay to add wrinkles, scratches and fine detail.

  4. Giving a surface its colour and feel, so metal reads as metal and skin as skin.

  5. Lighting a scene and rendering it, using Eevee for speed and Cycles for realism.

  6. Giving a character a skeleton, then making it move and act.

  7. Smoke, fire and fluid simulations, combined with rendered layers into a final image.

  8. Making models that are light enough to run in real time inside a game engine.

07FAQ

Questions,answered.

  • Yes. Films, OTT platforms, games, advertising, e-learning and social media all need animated content, and studios across India keep hiring skilled artists. A strong portfolio matters more than a degree.

  • No. Drawing helps, and we teach it from the basics, but many roles in 3D, VFX, editing and motion graphics depend more on timing, observation and practice than on sketching talent.

  • Anyone who has passed 10+2 in any stream can join our programmes. Graduates and working professionals who want to switch careers are welcome too.

  • Yes. Our placement cell runs portfolio reviews and mock interviews, and introduces graduating students to studios, agencies and production houses.

  • Of course. Message admissions and we'll book a free demo class and campus visit at a time that suits you.
